Pastoral Support
Our clergy attend to people's spiritual needs as they grow, mature, experience life's challenges, and cope with illness, loss, grief or pain. We seek to accompany anyone on the journey, and to heal emotionally, rebuild relationships and regain a sense of spiritual well being.
Chaplaincy
Chaplains provide spiritual guidance, religious services, and counseling to those in need. They encourage and provide comfort.
Chaplains in our church work in hospitals, hospice facilities, and first responder settings, to provide counseling and spiritual guidance for the public, patients, their families, and even professional staff.
Sacraments
Christian life is centered around the Eucharistic sacrifice and the sacraments.
There are seven sacraments in the church: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Matrimony, and Holy Orders.
Marriage Preparation
Because Christian marriage is a sacrament, we desire persons entering into holy matrimony to be well-prepared. Our clergy offer marriage preparation to help each spouse develop a better understanding of the sacrament, to evaluate and deepen their readiness to live married life, and to gain insights into themselves as individuals and as a family.
